As part of the launch of the collection “O Gangue dos Cavaleiros”, author Sofia Pereira invites young adventurers to embark on an unforgettable journey through a medieval universe, where friendship, courage and mystery come together in a great mission.

The story takes us back to a distant time, where an unlikely group of friends — the Troubadour, the Armour, the Blade, Didi and the Arrow — form the fearless Gangue dos Cavaleiros. Together, they set off on a journey filled with dangers, riddles and unexpected events, in an attempt to complete an ancient invention capable of bringing happiness to the entire kingdom.

To make this experience even more special, the event will include an immersive component led by the promoter Ofícios com História, allowing children to experience the world of the book firsthand. And the setting? The iconic Monastery of Leça do Balio.

A morning designed to spark imagination, encourage a love of reading and create unforgettable memories.

After the presentation, participants will be invited to take part in a series of playful and educational activities: from discovering the daily life of a medieval knight, to a mini fencing training session with wooden swords, as well as moments of creative expression through medieval dance. The experience will culminate in a symbolic knighting ceremony, where each child will be invited to become a knight, celebrating the spirit of adventure and companionship.
