On April 25 at 4:30 PM, the Fundação Livraria Lello, in partnership with Letras Lavadas Publishing, invites you to the presentation of the book “A Bicicleta Açoriana” by Rita Gomes.

The presentation of “A Bicicleta Açoriana” offers a meeting point between literature, travel, and artistic creation. In this book, writing emerges as a form of emotional expression and reflection on the world, born from the experience of traveling and the pauses that allow for observation, thought, and feeling. The bicycle becomes the central axis of this journey, not only as a means of transportation but also as a symbol of freedom, contemplation, and discovery.

Throughout the work, the reader is guided on a physical and symbolic journey through the Azorean landscapes, where the moving body opens space for introspection and self-knowledge.
