"Act The Thought" opening

In response to the growing concern about misinformation, Fundação Livraria Lello presents the exhibition “Act The Thought,” co-curated with UNESCO MIL Alliance and Polígrafo Newspaper. This exhibition aims to promote digital and information literacy, reinforcing the commitment to empower people to read the world transparently and transformatively, fostering a critical and informed society.

The exhibition includes a sound installation by Diana Policarpo, inspired by traditional songs from northern Portugal. Entitled "ALEA," this installation explores the deconstruction of words and melodies to create new meanings.

Additionally, the “Act The Thought” exhibition has led to the largest national participatory art project, Inside Out, by the renowned French artist JR, transforming the Monastery of Leça do Balio with around 1,500 large-scale portraits.
