GUIDED TOUR TO THE MONASTERY OF LEÇA DO BALIO
On the upcoming 18th of May, we will open the doors of the newly refurbished Mosteiro de Leça do Balio, the headquarters and main space of action for the Livraria Lello Foundation.
The building, which has been a national monument since 1910, was the subject of an ambitious refurbishment by architect Álvaro Siza, which breathes new life into the monastery while simultaneously preserving the essence of a space with centuries of history. Experience this meticulous work through a guided tour, organized in partnership with the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Porto and the Casa da Arquitetura.
On this day, we also have the privilege of presenting, for the first time, the work "Descida da Cruz" by Domingos Sequeira. This exhibition is a unique opportunity to closely contemplate one of the most significant works of the Portuguese artistic heritage.
