Livraria Lello Foundation records nearly 10,000 visitors in five months

Between March and July 2025, the Livraria Lello Foundation welcomed 9,590 visitors, confirming the growing interest in the Monastery of Leça do Balio as a leading cultural and literary venue. July recorded the highest number of visits (2,866), followed by May (2,281) and June (2,073).

The combined ticket Livraria Lello + Foundation has stood out for its strong international demand, particularly from visitors from the United States (44%), but also from Canada, France, Spain, and the United Kingdom, consolidating itself as a truly global cultural product.

In total, the Foundation welcomed visitors from 88 different nationalities, with the top 20 countries of origin accounting for 87% of all entries between April and July. This diversity highlights the international reach of the project, which brings together heritage, literature, and contemporary art for an increasingly plural audience. Thank you all for your visit!
