Perfomance "The Path"

On July 6th, at 5:00 PM, the Livraria Lello Foundation presents a special program that celebrates the intersection of architecture and performing arts. The event includes a ballet inspired by Pedro Eiras' work "Inclined Light." This text, born from numerous visits to the Open Sculpture created by Siza Vieira, is a profound reflection on space, light, and human interaction with architectural monumentality.
"The Path" is a creation where the human figure is central, exploring the duality between spirituality and physicality, social being and individual. In this performance, the dancers' bodies move and interact with the architectural space of the Open Sculpture, reflecting one of humanity's most ancient quests: the search for elevation, beauty, and transcendence.
